March 2024

What can we say but WOW?! What a great trip with a bunch of awesome people. We had so much fun with everyone who made the choice to leave the country with us…and trusted that we would get them back safe! Highlights included an acoustic performance by the pool, a full 3.5 hour show on the beach, a short set at Cabo Wabo Cantina (with VIP reserved tables and booths) and an all inclusive sunset boat cruise. We want to thank Gina Priebe at Travel For Life and our own Pat Dunn for all of the work they put in to making this a memorable trip!
– If you were on the trip please add your favorite photos and videos below on this post in the comments section!
– For all those who wish you came along…with the success and amount of fun this was we are considering doing some more travel in the future! If you think this is something you would be interested in we encourage you to join and follow the Spicy Tie Band Trips page to hear what is planned next!

February 2022

Our new promo video is complete!  After one of, if not THE busiest summer schedule we have ever had we were able to have a recording made of the the show that closed out our summer – 9/5/2022 at the Indian Crossing Casino!  Take a look and listen below.

May 2020

We started this project over 2 months ago. Some of our members were deemed essential and were putting in more hours than normal, while others were adjusting to a “new normal” of sorts so it took a little longer than anticipated but we hope the finished product can put a smile on your face and get you through the day. We could not have done this without the countless hours put in by our keyboard player Tom Colling. We want to thank all of our members Pat Dunn, Patience Cartwright Dunn, Eric Schmies, Brad Pagel, Andy Booher, Rob Raflik, Dawn Pagel, Luke Klug and good friend Isaac Schwartz. Enjoy! #leanonme #spicytie #spicytieband #enjoylife

April 2017

Wow!  On April 23rd at Turner Hall in Milwaukee we were announced as the WAMI People’s Choice Best Band (NW Quad) for the second time in two years!  Each of the other bands that were nominated are just as deserving as we are and are thankful to be a part of the Wisconsin music scene. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and we are looking forward to seeing some or all of you guys out at a show this summer!

January 2017

The Spicy Tie Band wants to thank everyone for all your support! Here’s to more memories in 2017!

December 2016

imageedit_5_5784813441We would like to thank everyone that came out November 26th and helped us raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project! With your help we were able to donate $1,500 to an organization who will assist veterans and service members with injuries sustained from their active duty.

We have a huge amount of respect for everyone who has served our country and realize that we would not be free to play music on the weekends if others were not protecting us in all areas of the world.

Please, thank a veteran or active serviceman/woman next time you see one!

April 2016

Thank you to everyone who voted for us for the People’s Choice Best Band in the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI) Awards…we won!!! We accepted the award (for the Northwest Quadrant of the State) April 17th and we cannot express how happy we are! It is nice to see the hard work pay off. Even though this is awesome, we plan to keep rehearsing to make our shows even better and most importantly, more FUN! This is great – and now, back to work.
